These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the MAJR website at gomajr.com and its subdomains (the "Site"), operated by MAJR Technology Corporation, a Delaware corporation ("MAJR," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. The Site

The Site is an informational, "building-in-public" website. It describes MAJR and its products, publishes writing and product updates, and shares notes on what we're working on. It is provided for general information only. Access to and use of MAJR's individual products — including majr, Return Goblin, and Dossier — are governed by the separate terms presented with those products, not by these Terms.

2. License to Use the Site

Subject to these Terms, MAJR grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and view the Site for your own personal, non-commercial use. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

3. Intellectual Property

The Site and its contents — including text, graphics, logos, the MAJR name and marks, page designs, and the compiled feed — are owned by MAJR or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Except as expressly permitted in these Terms or with our prior written consent, you may not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from any part of the Site. You may share links to, and quote brief excerpts of, our public writing with attribution.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
  • scrape, harvest, or systematically extract data or content from the Site by automated or manual means, except as permitted by our published robots directives;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source of the Site or any software made available through it;
  • interfere with or disrupt the Site, its servers, or networks, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site;
  • remove or obscure any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notice; or
  • use the Site to transmit malware or engage in any activity that harms MAJR or others.

5. Feedback

If you send us ideas, suggestions, or other feedback about the Site or our products ("Feedback"), MAJR may use it without restriction or obligation to you, and you assign to MAJR all right, title, and interest in and to that Feedback, including all intellectual-property rights in it.

6. Third-Party Links

The Site may link to third-party websites and services that MAJR does not control. We provide these links for convenience only and are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party site. Your use of third-party sites is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

7. Disclaimers

THE SITE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. MAJR DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT ANY INFORMATION ON THE SITE IS ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR CURRENT. FORWARD-LOOKING STATEMENTS ABOUT PRODUCTS OR PLANS ARE NOT COMMITMENTS AND MAY CHANGE AT ANY TIME.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MAJR AND ITS LICENSORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SITE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. MAJR'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US$100). SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

9. Changes to the Site and These Terms

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time; the "Last updated" date above reflects the current version, and changes are effective when posted. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the Northern District of California, and you consent to their jurisdiction and venue.
