MAJR service updates: September 23rd, 2026

Clear answers when you hit a free-tier quota. If a key is over its monthly quota, or the whole fleet is over its daily ceiling, requests now return a 429 with a typed problem response and a Retry-After header that counts down to the exact reset time. The response tells you plainly that this is a quota limit, not a key problem: there is nothing to rotate and nothing to retry immediately. This applies to all encoding operations on both the HTTP and /mcp surfaces.
